In particular, knowledge of anyone making either shields, or shield bosses, with the profile image of a longboat.
I've even tried looking for small, plastic beads to grind down for same.
Thanks!

I think foundry was making a shield showing a longship

Look at VIK045
Could be that I have a spare one for you ;)

Most generous, but I do need more than one.
I'll try Foundry, but I doubt they could do JUST the shields.
I may well be coming back, hat in hand.

It doesn't seem too complex a design, you could consider sculpting one onto a shield and making a Greenstuff mold of it? That way, you'd only need to find blank viking shields and some Greenstuff.

How about buttons or pendents?

Press moulds?

Ok Doug, I've got to ask. What are they for?

Sorry, I have sad news for you.
Though I found a lot of the embossed shields from Foundry I have, like the one with the Raven, Gripping Beasts, Hammer of Thor etc., I sadly didn't find any with the Longship, sorry :(
But, as the use of Foundry vikings is not that uncommon here in our forum, I guess it should not be a big problem to get some through the bazar ;)

Bill, do you HONESTLY think I'd show my hand to YOU? >:(
But, you know the answer is two words: space pirates!
Okay, not really, but had to tease you. :D
Been trolling etsy, but the prices... :'(
Fortunately, given that, none have been small enough.
Sculpting is NOT my thing, or even a vague shadow thereof, though I have been considering the press mould idea.
Thanks all!

Stuff like shields is where press molds really shine, so another recommendation for that, so long as you can get one original to work off of.
