Title: Seeking tiny Viking longboats
Post by: The_Beast on 09 January 2016, 02:22:12 PM: In particular, knowledge of anyone making either shields, or shield bosses, with the profile image of a longboat.

I've even tried looking for small, plastic beads to grind down for same.

Post by: Modhail on 09 January 2016, 09:57:22 PM: It doesn't seem too complex a design, you could consider sculpting one onto a shield and making a Greenstuff mold of it? That way, you'd only need to find blank viking shields and some Greenstuff.

Sorry, I have sad news for you.
Though I found a lot of the embossed shields from Foundry I have, like the one with the Raven, Gripping Beasts, Hammer of Thor etc., I sadly didn't find any with the Longship, sorry :(

But, as the use of Foundry vikings is not that uncommon here in our forum, I guess it should not be a big problem to get some through the bazar ;)

Been trolling etsy, but the prices... :'(

Fortunately, given that, none have been small enough.

Sculpting is NOT my thing, or even a vague shadow thereof, though I have been considering the press mould idea.
