I aquired these in a job lot years ago & finally decided to paint them.

Does anyone know who the manufacturer is/was? I'm sure I've seen them somewhere but just can't find them. ::)

East Riding Miniatures have these critters these days.

I have some of those that I must have picked up about twenty years ago along with some colonial marines that they did to accompany them. I didnty even know you could still get them.

They were originally part of the Freikorps/Platoon 20 firm from Co. Down, N.Ireland. Is Cameron still around? I used to ring him for an order and end up chatting for half an hour, lovely bloke.

Ahh yes, I remember. They were cast in a very brittle lead and many tails broke off from my batch, but they were kicking around in a box for years. Infact they are still in the same box, but I have no idea where it is lol

Wow, well if they're still available, that's more to my already huge list :).

Think i might still have those kicking around somewhere myself - to be honest am now more tempted by the heroclix ones that Steders on Frothers appears to be accumulating - ideal for 28mm....

It seems I'm not the only person who has had some of these hanging around for ages.
I think Steders may be trying to corner the market in Heroclix Aliens. I live in hope of an appearance in local Poundlands ::)

None in Cheltenham going to Poundland and 99p store in Gloucester to see if they have appeared there.........

Just not very nice minis really, (sculpting I mean).
Really don't say 'ALIEN' to me, more halloween costume and foam suits.
For good proxies Kryomek (still available through Scotia I think) had some nice options, GW 'nids, greenstuff and a shed load of gloss black looks nice, and of course the horroclix stuff, (which I confess to having only one box of, unlike a certain young man who's bought up the entire world supply of em!
;)

True, but then they are nearly 20 years old, so sculpting has come on a long way since then, but you description of them is wonderful. Foam suits lol lol

They are a bit crude compared to (the majority of) todays miniatures but stll OK. I've not done them too many favours but simply painting them with black undercoat and dark green drybrush. There is more detail there but I went for the quick & easy option. ::)
They would certainly not look out of place in a Dr Who game (men in foam suits!). ;) http://www.drwhominiatures.co.uk/

It just seemed right to gloss varnish them. :)
