Title: Help! Looking for models...fish swarms?
Post by: Sinewgrab on January 13, 2016, 06:46:22 AM
Does anyone know of any fish 'swarms' out there?  I am looking to add radioactive piranhas to a scenario, but I can't find any sort of fish swarm bases - not many fish models of any kind, really.  Anyone?

I found the Reaper singles, and got those, but I am kinda lost.

Take a handful of rice grains, glue them to a blob swarm and paint them silverish.

Blackwolf's Forest Loch had very cool ideas for fish:

True, but I was really hoping to be able to get detail without creating my own. Well, I will keep looking.

Don't know if this helps you that much, but at least they have fishes:

Completely off the wall

Fishing lures?

might be a bit to big/lack detail for the kind of fish shoals you want to create - stick them together or something?

This stopped me though

With taste... Is it wrong to wonder what taste? Chicken maybe?

Maybe check toy company sites for doll house stuff. That kind of stuff is usually not very well painted and you might have to look around a bit to get something in scale, but that would be my suggestion.
