We have just added a number of new packs to our Italian range. These new packs represent the Italian Army in the iconic M33 helmet, and this makes them suitable for the later inter-war period (Spanish Civil War etc.) and throughout World War Two. These uniforms could be seen in Italy, Sicily,
Greece, Africa and even Russia.

To mark these exciting additions we've reshuffled our 'Italians in Abyssinia' range and broadened the scope. This now represents the 'Italian Conflicts' and will cover the entire inter-war period as well as an increasing World War Two range. We now cover both tropical and 'European' uniforms in this range, not to mention the CTV in our Spanish Civil War collection.
We will soon be moving our extensive range of suitable Italian vehicles into this section too, but for now you'll still find these in our Spanish Civil War store.

Great new additions! :o

Porca miseria!! :D
Bellissimi!! :-* :-*

How do they scale with Black Tree Design? Hopefully a LOT better than Warlords "washed at 60C efforts"....
-
Wow, those are great! :-*
-
Very nice figures
-
They are very nice.
They can be used 1941 summer up to 1943 in Greece.
but not for the winter 1940 to 1941in north Greece, one of heavy Snow and the coldest, just a bad as the Russian winter.
I have seen pictures of the British troops standing in snow in Greece on 2nd April 1941
If you had some in open overcoats, they would be ok.
they could be converted with Green stuff for Winter with open overcoats, even for north of Spain in Winter(SCW)
-
still no Lybian askaris planned ?
-
Very fine figures.
But not enough to get me to buy them.
I have lots of other things to spend my money on,
that Empress makes. ;)
Now where is my list? :D
-
These are pretty nice. Mostly conversions of the Paul Hicks Abyssinia models, I think.
-
Wow !! Finally great italian troopers ! Thank you ! Love your figures. :-*
-
Oh yes :-* :-* :-*

And they could also be used to fight against the Germans after the 1943 armistice - in the Aegean sea (Captain Corelly anyone?) and in Italy, where the First Motorized Group (Primo Raggruppamento Motorizzato) and the CIL (Corpo Italiano di Liberazione) continued to be dressed with the old Italian uniforms until the British formed and equipped six division-sized combat groups in late 1944!

Lovely stuff! Will have to check out the rest of the Empress range.
