Welcome back to our X-WING Campaign,
Today we see our intrepid band of Rebel Pilots try and protect a CR90 as it is refuelled. Lasers, missiles and fuel what could possibly go wrong ?
A welcome return to the fray for Jeff Vader (Darths less talented younger brother)
Regards Ken

Oooh, oooh. Love it.
BTW, turning B Wings on their 'attaching sprue to flight stand' thingy. I've looked at mine and they seem pretty well stuck so that something might snap or disintegrate by bending it before the joint gives - please advise because I'd like to have one of mine at a less perpendicular angle.
Thanks,
James

Hi James,
It's a pair of small rare earth magnets, placed between the model and sprue, it's strong enough to hold the model in place but it's still possible to rotate the B Wing to whatever angle you wish.
Glad you are enjoying the games.

I've decided to go the 'break the bugger' route. I've sawn off and re-positioned.
I'm figuring that the newly glued 'connect' will be sufficient for these models - I've just rotated the B wings through 30 or so degrees, doing more would entail other, beyond me, modifications to the model to make it look true.
It's funny, but of all the models, I think the B Wing looks so 'wrong angle' compared to all of the others. Is that just me?
Was it just a 'space occupied' issue?
The other model that I wonder about is Slave 1. Surely a model angled at 45 degrees? But, this one is a difficult one to change (will not bother).

Jeff Vader? Wasn't he head of catering?
Great to see different X-wing scenarios.

So would Eddie Vader be Darth's MORE talented brother? Just wondering.
Wonderful stuff here. I've been trying my hardest to resist X-Wing. I know I'd spend far too much money on it once I started....

Morning all,
Glad to see there are plenty of Death Star Canteen fans out there.
Jeff Vader has been a regular character in our campaign for a long time, it started when our Pilots were young rookies and I wanted an alternative to Darth, someone was less powerful.
He does indeed have a special pilot trait "Wet Tray" being able to regenerate a shield token to a max of his original on a green manoeuvre.
I can hear the points build, competition players screaming from here !
