Title: DOAG figures and historical photos?
Post by: FifteensAway on 06 February 2016, 03:11:02 PM
I'm working up a somewhat fictitious but somewhat reality based German colonial force set in 1885 or so.  Can someone point me to photos of troops from that time and to figures I might be able to use?  While I will be going with 15 mm, pointing to 25/28 mm figures is fine - I can use those as guides as what to acquire and, if needed, modify.

Appreciate whatever assistance can be offered.

If push comes to shove, I will go with the later government forces under the Imperial banner but I'd like to stick to mid-1880s if possible.

Thanks.

I have posted on my blog what I think would work well for early East Africa.  Scroll down the page and look for Abushuri Rebellion:
