Hi,
I was wondering which of these sets you Chaps would choose if playing solo? I already have IHMN and the two supplements and enjoy reading them (not gamed yet) but does EoD have anything extra or does it have a better campaign system? The figures for the latter really do look useful, any thoughts on this would be of interest to me as I am at the stage where the figure pile is begging to be painted and used.
Thanks in advance

I own both and prefer IHMN. But both are fun

I also own both and prefer IHMN. I prefer the flavor of IHMN. Both have a lot to offer. I know, do what Chairface and I did and buy both! :D

Thanks for the replies I may "have" to buy Empire of the dead to see for myself....not such a chore

Empire of the Dead is an excellent game with a lovely figure range behind it :)

Carl, do get back to us with your observations, please. ;)
Very amusing, Craig, and true from what little I know, though you know my bias towards your own set.
Now, both rulesets are certainly adaptable to either, but I notice IHMN is firmly in VSF board, and EotD in the Gothic Horror. Though horror elements were in IHMN from the first, with both Thule and mummies, it certainly feels more VSF. And EotD sounds properly placed as well.
Does this feel fair to most observers?
