Hi!
I finally have got something to show for myself :) Since the Jurassic Park project is on hold until I get my jeeps from Chieftain I painted up some of the excellent IWI miniatures from Musketeer.
Unfortunately, the flash washed out the colours a bit and not even Adobe could repair that, so I hope to make better pictures this weekend with natural light.

They look great. :-* 8) :-*
Just a little question though, do you paint the upper part of the Lee Enfield gun metal? It’s hard to tell from the photos but that should be painted as wood.

Hi!
Yeah, I paint that part metal, because I didn't know it had to be wood :) Well, need to do some more research then. Actually, I copied the uniform colours from someone from the Steve Dean forum, because I couldn't find any proper pictures of official uniforms.

Jase, welcome to the "Wrongly Painted Lee Enfield Club." Don't worry, you are in good company. :)

Scroll down a bit and a whole bunch of LAFers confess to the same mistake.

:D I'm in good company then! Shouldn't there be a batch for that as well? To proudly display our ignorance of firearmsy history lol

Lebels and Mausers both have their own "should it be wood or should it be metal?" pitfalls to avoid as well. There is scope for three clubs here.
