Title: The Island of Besar Monyet
Post by: Torradas on 12 December 2008, 06:13:10 PM
Breaking News:

A German Expedition report sighting of a giant primate in the remote Pacific Island of Besar Monyet.
This encounter resulted in a brief skirmish, with the loss of 16 out of the 21 souls that composed the expedition.
Reports have come in that Wilhelm von Pontius, the expedition leader, having recovered from extensive wounds (including the loss of his right eye) has sold is family estate to pay for a second expedition to the remote island, vowing not to return without exacting his revenge on the feral creature.

Among the surviving members was the expeditions photographer that managed to take some images of the beast:

This is the incipient start of a Lost World Project. I have the minis, I have the beasties and I´m working on more terrain. I have a couple of rule systems under consideration and want to do a reaction chart thinguie for the beasties so that I can either do a solo-play or a co-op play with 2 parties. Competitive play will also be an option.

Any advice as to rules systems?  I was thinking of using a modified T&T or Song of Blades for this theme.

.45 Adventures is good. It's add on Valley of the Thunder Lizard has rules for dinosaurs and giant mammals and I'm sure there is a template for a giant ape somewhere.
