Maybe a little retro by now but still more futuristic than most of the scifi urban terrain you can buy off the shelf:

Some of those are very 40k and there's one that looks like a piece of set from Blade Runner. Thanks for sharing.

Stunning stuff, I think that they still look quite futuristic. I also like the grand ideas that the planners and architects embraced, pity it was mostly wasted on us puny humans!

Bit of a sweary title I'm afraid but this is my go to site for brutalist utopian architecture.

I used to never really care for Modernism, with Art Deco being my favourite movement/style, but I've made a 180 over the past couple of years and I'm a huge fan now. I blame my love for Gerry Anderson's UFO series for that; it had some really examples throughout.

You have to admire the optimism of the architects; there's so much positivism and ambition evident in those projects. For sure, many of those buildings/estates/projects have stood the test of time, even though they've sadly become dilapidated. Just another wilted dream I suppose, but there still is plenty of beauty in those pictures.

Most, if not all, of those pictures could immediately be used as inspiration for scifi gaming terrain, from Infinity to 40K.

I'd give my right arm to live in (a non dilapidated) modernist apartment like those - beautiful.
