Would welcome thoughts as to the uniform shade/colour shown in the plate below, here also the wiki link

Dark blue
Secondary colour yellow, belts black.

Like with Napoleonic French army the darker the better but lighter looks better on the table.
Cloth from the period detoriated in colour and is very dark-almost black.

Thanks I had assumed that was the case but confused by the apparent grey tone in the pic

Bear in mind they should have yellow wyłogi(large patch of material in the front) like uniform in the photo not blue front like in the illustration (its garrison dress)
And white trousers in spring and summer.

Those sets are bit silly pin ups but this guys works are quite correct when we talk about the uniform part 8)
