Title: Storing larger figures
Post by: Bishop Cockthrottle on February 20, 2016, 01:21:40 PM
How do people store/transport their larger figures? Trolls, Demons etc
I have a KR Multicase for all the human-sized stuff but want something secure for the bigger beasties

Thanks in advance

How big are we talking? I often cut the foam between two sections in a KR case to make a double size area. I keep the foam attached on one side though as it helps hold the figure and could later be used for two figures again if desired.

Hi Joe

It's the all-round size/depth, protrusions and 40/60mm bases!
Yep - tried cutting dble sections and it works OK for relatively "flat" figures it's the 75mm tall giant with flailing arms, 50mm tall zombie troll and the major winged demon things ;-)

I seem to recall seeing solid foam block you could custom cut?

BTW - tremendous game Joe - have introduced it to half-a-dozen others and they love it although not enough to start painting figures again!

You could glue sheet magnet to the bottom of their bases and put them in $1 cookie trays, that's always an easy and cheap way to go.  It's how I've been storing my Multi-Based KOW army.

Hmmmm -I have plenty of magnabase  so could actually combine the two methods - thanks Glenn
