Title: TheMageKing's Magical Mayhem (Frostgrave warband, etc)
Post by: TheMageKing on February 25, 2016, 06:56:57 AM
So, since I've been lurking around here and commenting on others for so long, I've decided that it's best I finally make a post about my own stuff going into the frozen city.  :P

Here's one of the warbands I've got assembled and painted up. Not much to say but that I'm glad I chose a colorscheme and stuck with it.

The plan for this is a simple list-

Wizard (Evoker, Staff)
Apprentice (Hand Weapon) (200 gc)
Captain (Shield, Mail) (Leadership, Furious Attack) (110 gc)
Infantryman (50 gc)
Thug (20 gc)
Thug (Same)
Thief (Same)
Thief (Same)
Javilener (25 gc)
Wardog (10 gc)

Should leave me with about 25 gc to spend, if I want to swap things around so I have two javileners or something.

I've also got a host of undead painted up and ready to go, all ready to strike terror into the hearts of unsuspecting murderhobos adventurers!

More pictures and talking are up here (http://tmksmanicminiatures.blogspot.com/2016/02/frostgrave-my-bits-and-pieces-for-it.html), at my blog, and I plan to post some more about the rest of my stuff later.

The main issue is finding time and players. I live in a place without much of a wargaming scene, and the group I managed to find in the summer kinda disintegrated after the season changed, unfortunately.

I'm trying to get people interested in the game at a comic store, though. Might have a few players soon enough.

I just need to have warbands ready for sample games, that've gotta look good and show off the fun parts. :p
