Title: Mutineer Miniatures Resin Buildings
Post by: Dr. Moebius on 05 March 2016, 07:45:44 AM
Hello gentleman,

Davids fantastic blog tales of Rhanzlistan http://talesfromrhanzlistan.blogspot.de (http://talesfromrhanzlistan.blogspot.de) show lots of great miniatures and terrain. He writes that the buildings are from Mutineer Miniatures.

Though I can't find any buildings on their web shop at all. Does someone know where to get these buildings or has a good alternative range?

Many thanks
Alex

I emailed Mutineer a while back and they said they had sold out of the resins and were not planning a restock.  :-[

It's a shame I liked them. I guess I will have to make my own.

but these are nice too, if a bit expensive

I agree Rob, no city walls though sadly.

I bought mine from Tablescape, they come pre-painted but the paint job is pretty good.

My preference would be for them to have the appearance of having more iron in the stone but that could be added later if I wish.

They are light resin too.

I think the issue was one of casting costs which lead to a decision not to restock. Perhaps the range might be sold on at some point? I hope so as I was saving for a gate, walls & bastions for deployment in both Rhanzlistan and Bhyklabad.
An alternative might be the former Ian Weekley BATTLEGROUND range, now in resin from Magister Militum I believe. The 28mm sets would do nicely for you I think, though I have the 15mm original foam casts myself for the Sudan.

Thanks for your replies gentlemen. Will see what it all end up.
Maybe I will go for a mix off ready made terrain and self build.

By the way, I really like your blog David!

Cheers
Alex

Hello Gentlemen,

I can confirm that the buildings and fortress pieces were from NP Models, they will soon be available through Templar Wargames & Scenery, Templar distribute the 28mm Indian Mutiny Range on behalf of Mutineer Miniatures. I hope this help if anyone is still interested in the terrain. You can email Templar and they will provide the items on request. links below
