help needed

Me and my father will be trying out the 'Across a deadly field' rules in a few weeks time. but would like to know if anyone has any good ideas or suggestions about what sort of scenario we should do. as to get a good feel for the rules.
any help/ comments are welcome.  :)

Sorry I have never played them, but would be interested in your impressions, after the play through, as I am looking for a good set of ACW rules.

we played them on the weekend just gone. ive put a seperate post up about it.

the rules seem very realistic. not too bloody to begin with til the action livens up. and you need to attack sensibly. not just charge with your veteran regiment and wipe out 2 or 3 enemy reg'ts like other rules.

so all in all they are definately worth trying for yourself.

am going to get the supplements to them.  :D
