Hey guys! Finally got to play a game of Pulp Alley over the weekend and had a blast, despite my best attempts to completely muck up the rules ;)
Here's a few photos and link to the whole report

Fantastic terrain! THANKS so much for playing and posting you Pulp Alley battle report!!
And as for perilous areas....
Yes, it is perfectly logical for folks to want to avoid them. And that is fine, unless there is a more pressing reason to enter the area.
In urban settings, perilous areas could be a busy street with lots of traffic, a bustling outdoor market that is unfriendly to strangers, a dark alley with a bad reputation, an area patrolled by a mean copper, or simply the vertical sides of the buildings (climbing), and so on...
For example, you could say a fenced in area contains an aggressive guard dog - so it is a perilous area. Of course players are going to want to avoid it. But what if the area has tall buildings on both sides? Are you going to go around or over the fence? And what if a plot point is located inside the fenced area?
Perilous areas don't always have to be a big problem. Sometimes you just go around, other times it is not so easy.
Please let us know what other questions you may have.
OOh! - and don't forget to claim your Phantom Agent award --- https://store.pulpalley.com/

Thanks a lot Dave! Your suggestions make total sense, and I really like the idea of truck being a perilous area trying to run a character down :D
I definitely have more questions and I'm going to post them on your boards once I figure out my wording better with examples, so I can better explain my questions while not sounding like a goof :D

What a great looking table .Just serve's to remind me how far behind I'm with my own and the standard I've to keep up with.
Mark.

Thanks a lot! Believe me, the bar is set very high around here :), I'm lucky to try to keep pace with these guys - lots of great threads here!
-
Love Casablanca and love your board. I especially like the buildings. Keep up the good work.
-
Looking good!
Did you make the Buildings yourself, or are they from a manufacturer?
-
Thanks!
All the buildings are from Cresent Root Studios. What you see in the photos are all right out of the box (except for my building signs), no weathering or assembly at all! Hands down my favorite buildings :D http://crescent-root.com/
-
Very cool! I've been impressed with Crescent Root's work. It is great to see them in action. :D
-
I'm actually showing Casablanca in my film class right now. Your board looks lovely!
-
Love your game.
Casablanca is one of my favorite movies.
Glad to see it in a game.
Well done.

Thanks for compliments guys :)
And congratulations Oldben on being the greatest teacher ever lol

Love the Lao che airfreight. Perfect for this setting.
-
Great table, and love the references.
-
I actually hadn't heard about Crescent Root before, so thank you for that. As others have said, your table and game look just incredible. Deeply impressive work based on one of the truly great films!
-
Thanks, I wish the kids enjoyed noir film more. I just like that I get paid to watch movies!
The new crescent root stuff is nice, it seems well priced too.
-
Again, thanks so much for the kind words guys :) .
I can't recommend Cresent Root Studios enough! They are really under priced in my opinion for what you get.

Yeah, again though, nothing special to them; just a generic Google search, resize and print - anything more difficult and you wouldn't see it on my table lol
Here's a link to that prep

Stuff is nice, but overseas postage and custom fares makes it a no-go for me.

sounding like a goof never stopped me (or most anyone here) from asking questions.
great looking stuff - keep up the good work.

Trains do add a lot to the terrain. So glad I finally got a few cars too. :D

You stuff always looks so great. It is great to see all the stuff you can make. ;)

This is really nice looking stuff but, having visited Casablanca in December, it lacks the gritty smog in the air that I couldn't help but notice. :D
