Title: Attack on Le Haut Perrier, IABSM - Devon Wargames Group
Post by: carojon on 13 March 2016, 10:53:20 AM
Hi all,
We played a very entertaining scenario taken from the "Cymru Am Byth – The Welsh Guards at War 1939-45" scenario book by Too Fat Lardies, using their excellent company level rules "I Aint Been Shot Mum".

This proved to be a tough day at the office for the British Guardsmen, but a very entertaining afternoon at the club followed by a bit of rugby action in the pub afterwards.

If you would like to know more about the history leading up this battle then follow the link to my preamble to yesterday's game

and you can find out how our table-top clash turned out here on the club blog.

That was really bloody nice.  15mm?  Loved the Panther painting and detailing.

The table looked great too.  How did you make the slopes?  Just towels and or books and stuff with a grass mat laid over top?

Thanks for posting this.

Hi Tim,
Thank you appreciate the comment.
No high tech about the slope, simply styrene contours with a cloth over the to smooth out the effect and then the Terrain Mat over the top of that.
Cheers
