Title: The Hungarian revolution of 1848 and The revolutions of Europe

For those who like political intrigue, skirmishes and large battles the revolutions and Uprisings thst occured in Europe from 1830- 1870  provide the gamer with considerable scope....some of the combatsnts can be found in a variety of scsles, where there are not dedicated figs proxy figures can be found.
The Hungarian Uprising of 1848 is really colourful, Poland saw three different Uptisings from 1830-1863, there were others.
please share on this thread any info people may have.

From memory of my A-level history (bibble-ee-bob years ago), the United Kingdom was the only European country that did not have a revolution in the 1830-1850 period - and even that was a close call (Chartists, Young Irelanders).
