This is my first post on your lovely forum. I spent the last couple of days going through all 65 of your colonial pages and have learned allot. My question is directed to the folks that have already built the Warlord Rourke's drift buildings. Did you mount them on plasticard or MDF? I have built several smaller buildings in the past and have usually mounted them and made them more scenic by adding static grass and such. The Rorke's drift building are much bigger then I usually build and I wonder how solid they are. Any pictures or suggestions warmly welcome.

Welcome rha.celt.
I haven't made buildings specificially for Rourke's Drift, but I would mount them on MDF (3 or 6mm) bevelling the edges and corners as required. Depending on your storage/travel requirements, I'd break the buildings into pieces too.

I have been looking closer at the buildings before I start them and do not know that there would be a way to make them in pieces. I am starting to lean more toward mounting them if for no other reason then it might make them more solid and easier to protect when transporting them.
