Title: Looking for 1:55 scale decals...Police, Fire etc...
Post by: ARKOUDAKI on 22 March 2016, 12:12:23 AM
Not sure where to post this but this looks like a good start.

I am looking for 1:55 scale decals...Police, Army, etc...I am redoing some of my son's Disney/Pixar Cars and looking for some suitable scaled decals. Sadly, I checked all my own decals and while I cover the military very well nothing much for civilian usage. Hence, any suggestions - outside of making my own, which will be my last resort - would be most welcomed. Surely some firm does decals for civilian vehicle?

We do have several sets for Police:

For fire and emergency...I think there may be some companies that do O scale sets.

If you can't find them we also make custom decals for individuals.  It works out to be about the same cost as buying one of those print your own kits..sometimes cheaper if we have sheets going through and all you need is text.

I do have a test sheet of Starwars style decals I'm sending out this week, so I'd be happy to stick on some plain text words if your game -- [so long as you buy some police sets  ;)]

There are O-scale decals for every conceivable purpose.  Though technically they are usually 1/48, I don't think you'd have any problem using them in 1/55.

Both of those carry 1:43 scale decals.   Maybe they will work.

I used some on this car:

But it is 1:43...   I got it bare black and white.

I think I also used them on my SWAT armored vehicle, though some might have been the Company B set as well:
