Title: 1st Afghan War miniatures compatibility

Eagerly awaiting the delivery of my pledge from the Studio Miniatures Kickstarter I wonder what other ranges that could be used as addition the the British forces. I was hoping that the Perry Carlist BAL troops could be used. Can anyone advice if their uniforms would be close enough? Grateful for any comments!
