Three of us got down to playing some TNT, a game of Cold Vengeance with the added chaos of a group of Trogs & a Trog King laying claim to the territory. The rules for controlling NPC's make for some very interesting and entertaining moments and definitely add to the re-playability of the bog-standard shoot'em-up nature of Cold Vengeance.
The day dawns clear & bright.

Leaving this hungry mob of Trogs at a minor disadvantage. They hate the light...

A Warband of Tribals is first to draw the attention of the Trog King.
And he urges his brood toward their prey!

The Tribals are defiant! But their ranged attacks fail to wound the ravening Trogs.

'Crack! Crack-crack!' An assault rifle rings out! Taking down the Tribal Champion. Who is responsible!?
Ah, it's those Preservers again... The powered armoured Reclaimer suppresses with his plasma rifle but the Savant jams his AR!
No matter, the Arbitrator with the Plasma Caster is in the tower!
And those other Preservers have got a bead on him! Seriously. A plasma caster is nothing but a heat-score.
Pang! The Arbitrator goes down without once firing his shiny new Plasma Caster. :'(
(http://imageshack.com/a/img923/7222/QMRlbX.jpg)
The details get hazy from here on in... The Tribals, boosted by combat drugs and a talented, frightening Psychic begin to carry the day.
The Good Preservers can't shoot their way out of a wet paper bag. And this one Trog keeps bullying them.
The Trog King has a field day! His brood shall feast well today he thinks.
Until the Bad Preservers come out of hiding and start drawing a bead on anything that moves...
No Mercy! They even shot the Tribal's Warbeast. Shocking!
I say, I think someone might be hurt...
Stay back Robot! We are preserving stuff out here!

And so it went. The day was carried by the Bad Successful Preservers and the Tribal Warband managed to do pretty well too. The noble, honest & hard working Preserver Warband ran from the field. I think they heard the cries of some baby Gnash Worms that needed protecting. lol

Man your buildings look even better in ensemble on the tabletop! :-*. Looks like a lot of fun! I take it this was a 3 player game? How do you think the rules handled it?
-
As far as mechanics go, TNT handles 3 player games just fine. Sometimes you can activate your entire warband in one sequence, but other times the initiative passes from player to player like a hot potato...
Since we play with a smaller table we like to add a random factor - like the Trogs - to the mix to keep things busy. But I don't think this is required.
Three-legged games always have a potential to landslide vs one player or another, but playing a game together is the goal, so we just have to deal with it.

Nice table and AAR. :)
TNT is a great set of rules.

Awesome report.
Love that table! It has a great horror movie vibe to it.
-
Thanks for a great battlereport :) You guys have an amazing table
-
Furt, Supervike, Illumini, thank you. I'll pass on your praise to the lads. They have all had a hand in making it possible.
-
Very cool.
Love Plasticville buildings.
Have a lot of them.
Excellent AAR.
-
Lovely table! The environment is positively cluttered with character. I'm dissecting in the individual pieces to try and take in all the amazing details.

Me too! They paint up brilliantly and fill a table with possibilities. Glad you enjoyed the AAR. It was a real brawl and I only just managed to remember to take pictures at the key moments.

Yer making me blush! There is still a lot of WIP stuff being used but we wanted to get a game in. We haven't played in a couple of weeks just trying to catch up on the PV backlog. LOTS more to come, especially from the talented Mr. Jordan! :D
I was surprised how well the 20mm WWII Conflix resin ruins (http://www.1001modelkits.com/278829/conflix-6507-kursk-ruins-25mm.jpg) work with the Plasticville stuff. Very useful in this setting!
