Title: Wild West Building - From Christmas Ornament
Post by: Major Weenie on December 28, 2008, 04:23:54 AM
Right,
Not quite done, and still having problems with the camera, but here's a store front for a  western town.  There's a Wargames Foundry 25mm cowboy in front to give an idea of scale.
I picked this up in the local drug store (chemist) for $0.99.  It was with some other ceramic Xmas buildings.  I don't know why the Chinese manufacturers thought of creating an American west store front... at the time of Christmas... but there you have it.  With the snow I suppose that it would have to be in the mountains of Colorado somewhere.  And I don't remember westerners actually decorating their homes and businesses with wreaths and ribbons during the 19th century, but there you have it.
Oh, and I did need to repaint it.

Nice, Weenie, good thinking outside the square.
