Recently finished a French Hussar Trumpeter to add to a couple of other cabinet fillers. Part of a 40mm skirmish project that always seems to get pushed back in favour of something else ....
cheers

Thanks all :)
I really should finish some of the Perry stash as I have most of them and about half are base coated ... I got a bit peeved with them at one stage as they have some trickiness to them, weak ankles on the horses in particular and swords too. The metal is a really grainy under the "skin" and some of the worst I've ever come across to drill and pin so that was one reason the project got put on the back-burner. Maybe they'll get some much needed love later in the year.
Plus tanks are easier to paint .....

Bonjour,
Really like the way you've painted your horses.
The trumpeter's grey is particularly well shaded.
Cheers,
