Latest project, a few of Reaper's Bloodstone Golems from their Warlord range, sculpted by Chaz Elliot (Greater Golem) and Jason Wiebe (Lesser Golems):

Mounted on "40mm" Reaper bases, which are actually about 43mm in diameter. Guess they just measure the top of the base, not the lip? Bizarre.
I like these figs for their versatility. Aside from playing Warlord with them (does anyone actually play those rules?) they're nice rock/stone/war golems for fantasy RPGs, good constructs for Frostgrave, and reasonable Woldwatcher proxies for Hordes.
There's a third, even larger sculpt (the "Herald of Blood") in a very similar style, but I've never seen it in person. Maybe one of these days.

Love these chunky buggers! Nice miniatures + skilled brushwork = eye candy :-*
Well done!

Oh! EXCELLENT job on those!
I'd been going around with myself about getting some... they're a bit bland in the package... but seeing these shoves me right off the fence. Thanks for showing!

Very good paint job!
And nice models you show us here. Make me think about if there's an excuse for using them in a 15 mm fantasy army...

Thanks, all.
They are nicely scale-independent. Make nice giant-sized war constructs for a 15mm evil/Chaos dwarf army, for example.

He looks very stompy and smashy. Well done!

The Little Stone Guys are UBERCOOL & SPLENDIDLY painted. WELL DONE!

Actually not all that little, they stand 1.5" tall for the smaller guys and about 2" for the big one. The 40mm bases are spacious, and make them look smaller than they really are.
Glowing green magic sigils and such are kind of second nature after the amount of Circle Orboros figs I've painted for Hordes over the years.
