Finally got my photos from Vancouver's Trumpeter Salute show up onto the web. I ran my first Pulp Alley game in over a year (!) and it was a blast.
The scenario was straight from the core rulebook, but with six players hunting the lost treasure of the Thugee in a temple ruin widely considered cursed!

We had a Thugee player (the cult is much, much less dead than was believed!), a shifty Turkish arms dealer, a group of vicious White Russians, dastardly Red Air Pirates, and two British Army players, with some house rules about the long rivalry between the two British lieutenants to keep them from dominating together!
We also took care to introduce proper pulp gaming to the next generation, to ensure the survival of the genre:

Looks great! Bummed I couldn't make it this year!

Thanks!
I almost didn't run a game at Trumpeter Salute this year (the first time in many, many years) but put this one together more or less at the last minute and am glad I did. PA is a great multiplayer rule set and easy to run at conventions.
It was also nice to get the jungle terrain out of storage; now I'm planning an expanded and improved set of ruined temple terrain...

Thugees, Turkish arms dealers, White Russians, Air Pirates, and the British Army... Yup, that sounds like Pulp Alley! :D

Wirelizard, any chance that you might run that game at Enfilade in May? Or does your commitment to the next generation preclude such a trip? There is a Pulp Alley game with a VSF Mars setting scheduled for Saturday night at Enfilade.

The "next generation" aren't mine, they're a friend's kids (that's him in the photo, not me, I have more hair), I just borrow them for photo ops and give them back when they stop being charming. :D
I'm already fully booked out for May with other (mostly non-gaming...) commitments, so Enfilade isn't in the cards this year... just like the preceeding, oh, 17 years or so when Enfilade has not been in the cards. Olympia is a bit of a hike to get to to from Victoria.
Enfilade 2017, perhaps?
