Title: Out of the box : Neucraft 25mm, Traction, FM24-29, US driver ...
Post by: lou passejaire on April 21, 2016, 05:45:02 PM
i ordered the last stuff from Neucraft models .
Ordered on sunday 10, parcell received on monday 18 ...
In the parcell :
2 x 25mmSA34 guns on naval mount
1 x 25mmSA34 gun
2 x 4 FM 24-29 LMG
1 x Citroen Traction 11 CV
1 x US driver for the Ford GPA

US driver for the Ford GPA :
Clean resin casting, does the job ...  :D
(http://i86.servimg.com/u/f86/11/63/95/43/dscn2323.jpg)
from left to right : Empress SCW , Neucraft, Warlord
seem's to be most suited with big 28mm minis such as the Artizan ones ...
( sorry for the poor quality pic  :? )

25mmSA34 guns on naval mount
this one is my favourite ... one of the Free French "bricolages" used for the Scot Columns around Bir Hakeim , and till Tunisia : a 15CWT truck ( mostly Morris and Bedford ) with a 25mm AT gun .

issued with a pintle mounted AA LMG ( french FM24-29 ) and 2 accurate ammo boxes .
I'll use some Perry Plastic desert rats as artillerymen

25mmSA34 gun
using the same gun barrel than the naval mount , you have the choice for a French or a BEF wheeled AT gun , and have the mount to use it on a British or German Marmon Herrington Mk2 and a Sd.kfz.250 . With some modifications you can use it on a Bren carrier as used by the Free French after Syria and till Tunisia .

for size comparison the upper one is a Crusader Miniatures gun cut to use for a Bren Carrier
Issued with the same accurate ammo boxes .

Pintle mounted FM 24-29 LMG

upper one : Perry Miniatures included in the Dodge Tanake kit .
a must have for all French army players who tried to put a LMG on the Mad Bob and Warlord French vehicles  ;)

Citroen Traction Avant 11 CV
emblematic French car ... used by the French army in 1939-1940, by the German army on most fronts, by the Gestapo and the Resistance, by the Police and the gangsters, till the 60's ...

It's a pure beauty ! this one will became a staff car for Vichy Forces in Levant, and i'll order another one to paint in Black as a police - resistance vehicle ...

I need more vehicles, more weapons, with the same design/casting quality and scale accuracy !

Really like the way you have done the windows I might have a crack at that myself on my next vehicle and see how it looks
Good job on the decals too
