Not a comic version as I didn't take enough pics but here's a few shots from a couple of games we did the other day. Awesome new terrain painted by oldben1. Now I have to make my Sarrissa stuff look like his:) I think I'm going to do a little GM style gaming with my group. I'll play cultists and Lovecraftian monsters (As I have many) while they play their usual leagues. I'm toying with some 3 act stories. Sort of short campaign in 3 parts.
Eg: Act 1) Meteor lands near a barn in the country. Meteor is main plot point. Anyone close to it gets an extreme peril. Failure will rear it's ugly head in act 3.
Act 2) Maybe a social combat sort of thing. Leagues have to deal with scientists and local cops. Maybe Greasers or teenagers...Gulp!
Act 3) whoever fails the peril in act 1 become a terror.
That's a sort of general idea anyways. Each act is a game. Should be able to bang em' out in a night.
Anyways here are the shots of the new terrain!
A quiet Innsmouth night...

In the distance they see the Blue Wraith tinkering with the unexploded ordnance!

Zephyr snags the first plot point in the graveyard.

The Blue Wraith defuses the bomb but catches the eye of the cops!

The Wraith make tracks and runs smack into Zephyr as she tries for the next plot point!

Great looking table and game!
-
That is wonderful looking game full of eye candy.
:-* :-* :-*
-
Love the table. Great use of the O gauge buildings, and your cemetery is one of my all-time favorite terrain pieces.
-
Thanks! They're awesome pieces. oldben1 did a great job of them!
-
Wonderful table and minis!

Fine looking game.
Good idea for campaigns.

Using the new Cards?
-
Hey that looks good. I'm glad the stuff found a good home, and it looks like everyone had fun. It's awesome to see it out and not gathering dust in the basement. We need to Find you a church of Dagon!
Gary if you want the paint colors I used let me know.
-
Thanks oldben! Yep. let me know the colours!
Not using the new cards yet. Want to order them at the same time as the new bits and pieces:)
You guys must have seen Dagon right?
-
Love those Plasticville buildings!

One night in Innsmouth makes a hard man humble
Not much between despair and ecstasy
One night in Innsmouth and the tough guys tumble
Can't be too careful with your company
I can smell a fishman walking next to me
-
Frammy Frammerpants...I was a half inch away...:)
-
Superb, Innsmouth looks marvellous. Great game.
-
Great stuff! Thanks for sharing.
What do you put down for your play space? Looks like some kind of boarding. I saw someone mentioned you are using Plasticville terrain. Can you provide any info on your buildings?
Looking forward to see more!
Matt

Cracking board Gary! Those buildings look fantastic! :-*
That's a seriously inspired use of sticky tie-wrap fixings on the roof! ;)
-
This looks amazing. The buildings look great.
More please!

??? ??? ???
-
They looked a lot like roof vents at the time, I remember liking them because they already had an adhesive bottom. I procured them from the science lab at my work! ;)
-
The baseboard is just black foam board. Cobblestone project imminent! The buildings are well painted Plasticville!

Aha!
Great spot.
:D
Now I just need to find myself some of them.
;)
EDIT: Which I have.
Cheers, mate.

Great looking table, and looks like a fun game too.

Indeed! Very clever! ;)
-
What exactly are those sticky tie wrap things? Never seen those things go before!
-
There was literally a pile of them on my colleagues desk. I asked: " are you going to use all of those?". My coworkers must think I'm nuts for taking bits of plastic home for my projects.
-
But what are they for? ???
-
Great looking game table. What are the ties for? Where did you find the sheriff's car at?
Jim
-
The Sheriff's car is a Disney's "Cars" toy. I find their scale perfect. Waiting to find out about tie tthings. No idea what they are. Never seen em' before.
-
They have adhesive backs so you can stick'em up and then run your cable-ties / tie-wraps / zap-straps wherever you like for the (admittedly short) life of the adhesive.
Put'em under the top of a desk, a counter or even under a bed to get those ugly cables off the floor. Or stick'em on a wall to hold network cable up out of the way of busy feet.
Buy now and I'll throw in a case Ginsu knives so you can trim those ugly cable-tie ends away effortlessly while slicing ripe tomatoes. ;D
-
Ah... Mystery solved.
-
Wow stunning, are those buildings all scratch built?
-
Nope. Mostly Plasticville painted beautifully by oldben1.
-
He did a great job on those buildings! :-* :-*
-
Yes wow!
-
I'd be open to commissions!

I'd be open to commissions!
I'm sure you'll have interest, but for me the shipping would kill it pity
-
A tutorial then. I'm excited about the new pulp alley buildings. If they can be send flat packed and painted that way shipping would be cheap.
-
That would be a real gift. One of our buddies here in Vancouver is desperate to do something not-apocalypse with his stash of Plasticville kits and the Oldben1 way is, I think, the one for him! 8)

Matt,
It's just black foamcore. Temporary!:)
-
Pretty much finished the Marsh Manor! A few more detail... Rust on the wrought iron, Windows etc...
-
Whoa! That really does the trick. Good work Gary! You just need a creepy gardener lurking around the back.
-
Cheers! Hound of Tindalos on the right...:)
-
You're doing an amazing job on those Plasticville buildings. ;)

That sir, is a Sarissa. I've always known I would use it for a haunted house eventually!

I have had my eye on that particular building for a while now.
It makes an ideal base to build upon and works in so many genres.
Seeing yours confirms to me that I will have to get one at some point.
:D
Top job!

Multi-use for sure! Are your Innsmouth denizens going to be available as a standard purchase sometime in the future?

Most certainly.
Once the KS has been fulfilled they will become available to all who want some.
:D

That is a beautiful haunted house Mr. 42!
Looking forward to coming up for a visit and some proper gaming in your corner of paradise. 8)
