Title: Project Z, size of board?

What's the recommended board size for Project Z? I was thinking about using the Mantic 2x2 Mars Attacks mat, but I'm not sure it that might be a bit too crowded.

Most of the scenarios are played on 4x3 table. At least that's what's stated in the mission booklet.
