I'm doing this project as a demo game at Partizan on the 22nd of May. I will post images here of the project as it takes shape. I will be making up my own Sharp Practice stats for the units. If there are any Carlist wars experts out there please help :)

The first unit in my Carlist army is the Tortosa Bn lead by Ramón Cabrera. I was thinking two sections of 8 line and two sections of 6 Skirmishers.

:-* Those figures look superb. I really look forward to see more photos.

What info do you need? I'm working on a revised edition of "All Honour is Lost" due soon(ish) but it won't be available before Partizan.

Cheers,

KC

'All honour is lost' is my bed time reading...I love it!
I just need to take the info from the book and reflect the unit's ability/class into the ' Sharp Practice' rules.
If I posted my thoughts a unit at a time...could you please feed back to me your thoughts!
I'm no expert on the period and that would be a big help!
David

Thanks David,

Wow... Bed time reading? Never thought "AHiL" could ever be that. I'm glad you're enjoying it and hope it's useful. Sorry for all the typos and weird text. I was very tired when I did the last editing.

Please post your thoughts or PM me. I'm happy to help.

Cheers,

Nuno

I'm very interested to know how these "Fuerte el Disablo" news develop:

1) "James from Oshiro Models is making me a couple of Spanish buildings."

2) "The block house that I had made up for this project has been sent to the casters and all going well... will be available for sale through Studio Miniatures at some point."

Keep us posted.

Lovely figures. And I like the clear movement trays too - where did you get those? I am thinking about SP2 basing at the moment. Have you based on 20mm or 25mm squares?

Goliad:
20mm square bases with rounded edge so the figures can rank up tight... but still have that single figure look. The movement trays are from James at Oshiro Models (talented chap that he is) makes them to order.

:-* I want one of those. The 4Ground blockhouse also looks good for the 1st Carlist War: http://www.4ground.co.uk/american-legends-dead-mans-hand/28mm-log-timber-block-house

Fantastic paint job!
I REALLY don't need another period but my friend Axel already has a few hundred Carlist wars figures. And I 'taught' him SP2 last weekend, which he liked very much.
Now, let me see if I can combine these two facts lol
