Anybody have some hints on possible minis to represent the fire flingers?
The description says they are medium war constructs with a barrel or tank of some sort that holds the flammable alchemical mixture.
Maybe a steampunk mini from somewhere? Or something like a Skaven warpfire thrower with only one figure?

Guy in that thread has a cheap children's box of figures that works really well for him.
-
I saw those, but am looking for something more construct/golem like.
-
Maybe from Warmachine?

A bit big though.

When I get around to playing the Dark Alchemy scenarios, I plan on using knights in plate armour, with thier lower arms replaced by tubes / gun barrels. If I can find some I hope to glue small barrels on thier backs, with maybe tubes connected to the arms.

AT-43 storm golem with flamer ?

This might be a bit big.

It also might give you some ideas.
Snitchy sends.

Perhaps one of the range of golems from Mage Knight, for example:

Is that Mage Knight golem really $56.99? Is is super rare or powerful in that game?
The Warmacine ones look great, though maybe too big. I;ll have to dig into it. Lots of Warmachine stuff is cheap now, since many online stores are liquidating all their stock.
The AT-43 one looks really crazy, I had no idea they had minis that looked like that now.

Privateer has smaller models with arcano-tech flamethrowers, most notably the Menoth Flameguard Cleansers:

and the Khadoran Assault Commando weapon attachment:

Both are human troops, but they wear enough armor that you could pretend they're a construct easily enough. At the very least, their parts could be useful, and PP does sell parts direct-only.

AT-43 is one of my favourite sci-fi games, its OOP now as Rackham went to the wall. The Golems are constructs which have their personalities/memories downloaded into organic brains. Cool idea. ???
You can still get them on e-bay now and then.
-
@DegenerateElite: I didn't notice the price. I only wanted to show the picture. They are out of production, but you can by on EBay. There you can get Mage Knight Golems for about 2 €.
-
That Warmachine Assault commando is just a damn amazing miniature, regardless of any need for it.
Really cool.
-
Most Warmachine humans are a slightly larger scale than the Frostgrave figures - not that that would matter so much if being used as a Construct.

Whom is doing the liquidating?
Doesn't make sense.

Lots of online game stores are selling off their Privateer Press stock.
Privateer just announced a price fixing plan to push brick and mortar sales, and curb discounting on their stuff.

All those warjacks seem too big to me... I might end up sculpting my own fire tin men XD

Fire Flinger! It's a plastic toy I found in a thrift store twenty five cent bin. I painted it up awhile ago for VSF/Steampunk gaming.
-
That's a good one.
Any other info on it at all?

Lead adventure miniatures has some steam robots that could fit for fire flingers

How about these? (possibly minus the Roman style banner)

Void and Urban War will always have a place in my hobby heart :)

I'm using some dystopian wars flame tanks as fire fingers. Going for a dwarf/gnomish built miniature steam tank :-)

Very nice.
That matches up with the construct description in the main book where larger ones are often wheeled or wagon like.
So many good options now!
-
I know they're not as described, but this is what I'm using, giving my limited selection:

I don't have Dark Alchemy yet (waiting for the printed version next year :(), but while not exactly what seems to be described above, I intend to use a few old GW Tzeentch Flamers I have kicking around somewhere (might as well find a use for them ;)).
-
I need someone to produce modrons with flamers...

Along the lines of those toy fire creatures there are these Magma-Crons from my GAFDOZ range at Killer B Games. They are essentially lava/rock creatures. The weapons are separate so don't have to be used.

They might be of some use.
