Anyone know if the Dixon one (below) is bigger than the rather small Warlord version I have?

I dont know the Jeep from Dixon but imo the Warlord Jeeps looks really small.
Have the Red Devils Jeeps.
-
Thanks Bowler I too have the WG jeeps and agree they are too small. Thats why I was hoping the Dixon one would be bigger (but not as big as the 1st Corps one) but looks like no one on here has even seen one! :'(
-
The 1st corps jeeps are often misquoted as being 1/48 ,There not.
A jeep is roughly eleven feet long .These are sculpted at 5mm to a foot which is 28mm.(plus or minus any casting requirements/limitations)This is how scale all my 28mm sculpts unless commissioned otherwise ;)
Hope the image helps.
Mark.

Thanks Mark, my WG Jeeps is 42mm long :'(
My WG Gaz jeep copy is 55mm long :-*

Rubicon are coming out with 1/56 plastic jeep kits in the not too distant future, including airborne and SAS versions. If they are anything like their other kits they will be very accurate in terms of scaling.
-
A plastic SAS Jeep from Rubicon sounds nice.
My local dealer has Rubicon in the range and so i could get it direct in the shop.
And Mark, thanks for the Picture. 5,5cm looks as an normal 28mm Soldier has enough space in the Jeep...

If it helps,I sculpted more than just the one pictured including a radio jeep ( the front passenger seat is replaced with a generator and correct issue radio) a heavy ammunition version to go with the 6 pndr and howitzer (with the correct carriage .airborne not air portable).also a standard airborne version not just the recce versions people associate with airborne, and a mortar support version .
Plus the recce jeeps can be fitted with a windscreen and roof, these were used post drop when supplies caught up with them from the ground(and especially in the winter).
In addition there's four different weapons mounts two dash mounted vickers K's(double and single) a wing mount for a single k or Bren.a free standing rear mount which can hold a 50cal,Bren ,double or single k ,and at a push a browning.
All these vehicles are rigged according to the manuals of the period (and in action photography as training photography doesn't always show adaptations learnt through use )right down to the rear wheel mount being moved inwards (1.5mm in 28mm).
To get it right you have to know the difference in a rigg as a vehicle is dropped and once it's unloaded.then how it relates to its use once in action,So I try to build enough room for conversion into the model.
It helps people to have unique jeeps whilst still being period faithful.
There is also a 20mm Polston and jeep (not released yet).Drop canisters and chutes.
I've just handed over the American and German drop canisters (and a Kublewagon) to 1st corps at Partizan,so I'm not quite finished with the airborne equipment yet ;)
Mark.

Hanging out for that Polsten even though WG have one now. :)

I have finally got hold of the Dixon jeeps - they are beautiful. Lots of parts mainly stowage and a perfect match sizewise for my Warlord Gaz jeeps
Will post piccies later

Empress are supposed to be doing a jeep scaled for their figures.
The Warlord jeep looks tiny compared to 28mm figures.

The Offensive Miniatures one did not seem a lot larger.

Here is my picture of my WG jeep and my WG Jeeps copy by Gaz and the new hull of my Dixon jeep

I might put a frilly canopy on mine and use it as a Mini Mike.
Empress have their jeep on their site.
