Here's a better pic of the Geisha that was in my last round LPL entry, and a pic of the kimono that inspired the paintjob, it's not an exact copy but I think I've managed to get the general look right, I tried painting a few of those larger yellow flowers but they just looked like a large bird took a poop on it, so I stuck to the Sakura, which surprisingly isn't that hard to paint.

The sakura are very well painted, but the fade and tone on the red of her kimono is at least as impressive.

One of my favorites from this years LPL :-* :-* Stunning work and I agree that the underpainting really sets off the sakura motifs. Bravo!
