CompanyB do a nice set of 28mm scale decals for a tardis/police box (listed under Pop Culture Decals).

I'll second that recommendation, it's a great one that I need to get one for myself though I keep ending up with friends and family walking off with them...my father thought it would be funny to swipe the Not!9th Doctor from Heresy and that to leave it in with my mothers Jerusalem village, and several other people kept doing the same to the point where I gave up and just said they could keep them as christmas gifts and need to replace it for my own collection.

You chose... wisely.  Seriously, look into printing/buying decals for the signage.  Unless you're a freehand god, that is.  I tried painting the letters, it was impossible.

I may need to get that! I was looking for such items last fall.
