Title: Civitates Orbis Terrarum

Cities of the World is a reprint of the classic city maps published by Georg Braun & Franz Hogenberg between 1572 and 1617. around 500 pages, A3 size. Got mine today and it's a beauty!

Very nice! I fancy costed some good lot!
Since you have the reprinted issue, does it have more maps than those depicted in their website? Although it has lots of towns from the west they do not have almost anything on the east. Even Constantinople is not included in the lists!

The maps have been cut around 1600, when reliable scetches of eastern cities were hard to get.
