Ever since reading the LOTR books when I was nine, I have been dreaming of having my own orcish army (just like Sauron). Many years later, with increased monetary resources, my dream is fulfilled!
As you can see, the figures are GW, because when buying hundreds of figures, the GW ones are not that expensive and easy to procure. I always thought Warhammer as a game was to rule heavy and the number of figures way to few if you wanted to play a reasonably short game. What I always missed was the LOTR feeling of a gigantic orcish horde sweeping over the battlefileld like a tidal wave. This was not realistic with the Warhammer rules, so therefore I created my own ruleset, "Dust clouds and tides of steel". Apart from the figures being GW, it has no connection to Warhammer Fantasy whatsoever.
