Darice wooden dowel cabin, with modifications
Hi everyone,
Since my games that I am running at conventions this year feature Indian raids on frontier settlements, I decided that I needed more log cabins. I wrote in a previous post about the incredibly cheap log cabins made from wooden dowels available at hobby stores. This is another one of those packs tricked out with a stone chimney, among other things.
Check out the details and more pics on my Lead Legionaries blog:

Very nice, Mike - I have that bookmarked for later ;)

Excellent work!
I hunted down your first built version of this kit and it looks like you've made some very tasteful improvements. http://leadlegionaries.blogspot.com/2015/10/log-cabin-for-399.html

Great additions, Mike. The interior looks good with the stone hearth.

That's a very nice cabin Mike, the interior makes all the difference. I saw some Ramirez Noname made too, very inspiring stuff 8)

My Hobby Lobby is all sold out! :'(
They did have a teeny tiny fort by the same folks, but wayyy out of scale.

Cool. Now I know what to do with some of the items I bought a decade or so ago while touring historic sites and raiding the associated stores. Have cabins and forts that can use your conversion ideas to make them much better for table top gaming. And they work well in my chosen scale.
