Got my Phalangites today!!

Not sure yet if I change the colour of the tunic later but I just couldn't wait to paint one up 8)

No secret there, it's the ever reliable Vallejo Old Gold, washed with Agrax Earthshade and Winsor & Newton Professional Matt Varnish.
I've changed the tunic's colour to a more Off White:

Did you use gold paint for the base of the shield designs? I once tried it that way, but wasn't happy with the outcome. When I tried on white, it became better but slightly dull....
