Title: The Steam Powered Armoured Tri-Ambulator Mk I 1877
Post by: Captain Darling on June 25, 2016, 10:18:06 AM
In 1877 during the dark days of the First Great Steam war the British introduced a revolutionary weapon system to the battlefield, the Steam Powered Armoured Tri-Ambulator Mk I...a one man armoured beast! It was well armoured and equipped with a rapid fire weapon in a revolving turret and so very fast travelling at a breakneck 15 MPH on open flat ground...

Here's a Picture of one of the first production models with the two Captains, Darling and Ball who carried out evaluations on the vehicle...

The "historical" Blurb about the Tri-Ambulator and more pictures are on my Blog...

Oh, that IS handsome!

Does it 'feel' top heavy to you? No high-speed turns, I'm thinking...

Bees knees!

Yep Beast no handbrake turns in these!

On the other hand, keep the speed low, and they look like they could turn on a dime, give you a nickle change. 'We don't have any nickles!'  :D

C'or, just imagined some close order drill!  :o
