Anyone ever play the game 'forbidden island'? It's a cooperative game where some people are on an island grabbing some ancient artifacts, and that is causing the island to sink. They have to get the stuff and get out via helicopter before it's all underwater.
Now, the helicopter puts it in an era a bit later than pulp, but the 'indiana jones' feel makes me think pulp is the best fit.
I have a nephew who LOVES the game, and I'd like to get him one with a set of miniatures rather than the simple colored pawns.
The rolls in the game are:
Engineer
Messenger
Pilot
Explorer
Diver
Navigator
Ideally, I'd find a male and female for each of the rolls, and ideally they'd for the most part be unarmed. An occasional gun is okay but I don't want it looking like they are setting out to fight the zombie apocalypse.
Engineer (Reaper Rosie 50016)(Reaper Dr H. 59003...but not a big fan of the giant robot fist)...would love a person with a shovel, especially someone looking like a military engineer, or soldier with an entrenching shovel.
Messenger
Pilot
Explorer (Reaper Frank Buck 50204)?
Diver (Reaper 50166 and 50167)
Navigator
I'm really pulling a blank on the rest. Any ideas?
I know we have some sculptors here, anyone ever consider creating minis for this game? I am sure they'd sell pretty well.

What an excellent idea. The wife and I just got the game last week. We tried it and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to when my son is just a bit older and he can join in.
I might have to go digging in my box of heroclix and grab some stand-ins.
For a female engineer, I also rather like the "rosie cryotechnician" figure from Reaper. A shame the cheap bones version has the gun instead of the wrench, but that could be easily swapped.
For a male engineer, if you can find him, the former Alpah Forge figure seen here, Third from upper lef:

has a nice cutting tool and torch and no weapons.
Usually available only as part of a set, but he was available separately as part of Johnny's new kickstarer, that just ended so maybe he'd sell him separately. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/967512676/dungeon-monsters-28mm-miniatures-undead-zombies-an
