Are new roller derby rules same as the old days?  Like with jammers and stuff? Harkening back to the thrilling days of yesteryear with Skinny Minnie Miller!

Don't see the old banked tracks with rails anymore. Guess those caused more injuries and are probably hard to build or transport. Seems like all flat tracks now.

Yup, that's me, Doc Alley - dressed like a zebra, skating in circles, and whistling at girls.  lol lol

There are still some old banked derby tracks around, but most of the derby is played on flat tracks these days.

The current version of the WFTDA rules are fairly close to the classic derby rules from the 40's. Jammers, blockers, scoring, and so on.
