Im working on my Seven Years War in 6mm again, finally. My goal is two units a month; progress this week is on some converged grenadier battalions. I hope to finish both by the weekend.

Nice to see some 6mm in the AP2016 - I know, I should've done 6mm too, but my poor old orks were desperate for a lick of paint.
Nice choice too - this should be colourful 8) 8) 8)

Good luck with your project!

Great work!! Looking forward to seeing how this progresses. :)

Look forward to seeing the progress Billchuck. How many 6mm figs in a unit?

72 infantry or 18 cavalry. Each unit uses 6 bases (12 figures or 3 strips per infantry base, 3 figures/1 strip for cavalry) at 20mm wide.
I finished up basing for all my painted units this weekend, I'll get a picture of it all as soon as I get a chance. Turning the guest room into the baby's room is taking up more of my free time than I expected. I suppose I should get used to that. :)

Yes. Yes you should. :D
Good luck with the army!

I finished up painting the grenadiers last week, and spent this week finishing up basing on all the finished units.
Here are photos of the grenadiers and some previously painted line infantry.

There are some more pictures on my blog, but they're similar to these (and it's not giving me the convenient links to thumbnails that it gave earlier, dunno why) so I didn't bother with them here.
Next on the painting desk are some kurassiers.

Well done. :)

Getting ready for a baby eats up a lot of hobby time. But he's definitely worth it.

I've managed to paint a unit of kurassiers and make a few houses for a town base. I've worked out the construction, but I can't paint a straight line to save my life. I need to cut out the timber framing from card so I can paint that up instead. It shouldn't be too hard. Once I have a good process I'll post a how-to on my blog and maybe even given y'all some templates.

In that picture you can also see the distraction that ate up some of my available hobby time. I'll save it for another post once I've made more progress there.

Thankfully you have a helper there to give you an assist.
