Title: Recaster Warning - Alert for manufacturers.
Post by: 6milPhil on 30 June 2016, 05:38:02 PM: An ebay trader who concentrates on recasting other people's work has been spotted, so far counterfeits of Fenris, Hasslefree, Blackcat, Ainsty, Ristul, & Scibor have been identified.

Jim Bibbly has confirmed this alert.

Some of them have quite iffy flash when you consider who they are meant to be from.

For starters, Fenris and Hasslefree - both well known for their brilliance in terms of quality control.

When I see things on an obvious recaster page that I cannot figure out where they came from to get them from a proper source. Like the ice machines, or the mattresses. Maybe we should have a thread for finding those?

Got that right. I've neve seen any flash like that on a Hasslefree mini... and I have a bunch.
