Another month, another show, and this time it is Gauntlet 2016 in Deeside, Wales. Which is being held on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd June.
It is a small and friendly show that is run by the Deeside Defenders Wargames Club at the Broughton Wings Sports & Social club (Chester Road, Broughton, CH4 0DR Chester, Cheshire).
The Gauntlet Wargames and Gaming Show has been run by the club since 2004 as a friendly, player based, open event focused on actual gaming, competitions, participation and demonstration games. There are usually no more than a dozen traders.
I shall be running Blood Eagle and Daisho participation games on both days.
I do like these sort of shows as I get time to chat with players and members of the wargaming community. Something that is difficult at the big, busy shows.
If you are in striking distance of Chester it should be a good day out.

Couldn't make it Saturday unfortunately....hoping to get there at some point on Sunday but looking after my mum so not sure. Hope it went well.
