Hi all,
after some more DIY in our Home, I have finally finished the second batch of French Command Bases as a Commission which are part of the ones I did a month ago. I really getting used to the Front Rank Miniatures. They are a bit chunkier than some other manufacturers and on some of the casts you can really tell their age now but all of them were a real pleasure to paint.
Here are the figures and the links to more pictures on my website ;)

Lovely brushwork.
I have Front Rank French generals in the post as I type. After looking at a whole bunch of options I decided on Front Rank simply because they are the best on the market.

I love Front Rank figures and you have created little masterpieces. :-*

Lovely brushwork, as always! I really like the colours, in particular the rich blue that is so Important for French.
Front Rank figures are full of character. The cuirassier in helmet does look like he is falling from his horse, though. It's a pitty most manufacturers don't get this horse and rider pose right.

Lovely crisp painting, the eyes though...a teensy bit wide? Or is that the miniature/my imagination?
Also how does front rank compare with warlord, would I e able to substitute the front rank officers for the warlord ones? I loathe separate heads.

Wonderful painting work! These figures have a lot of character... and age!
