God, I played it and played it and had fun like never after that. It was designed by Jullian Gollop, the father of X-Com series.
This morning I discovered a set of home brew ruleset I wrote in a day to play the PC game with miniatures, and remembered a project I started in 2012 which soon I left as with many other projects before. Now I regret having sold all the 15mm miniatures I bought for that game.
Here you can see some pics. Marines:

And the machina:

If somebody is interested in reading my rules just send me a PM and I'll happily share them.
Here's the promo video of the game. Enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duiFc_uULQg (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duiFc_uULQg)

Cool! 8)
Laser Squad was the spiritual predecessor of X-COM, (Julian Gollop pointed that out himself). It deserves all the love it can get IMHO, because without it, we would never have had one of the greatest computer games ever...
Your 15mm minis look spot on for those good old sprites; too bad you had to sell them. I'm certainly loving your use of those old Epic/Space Marine Landraiders! :)

You can still get those miniatures from here (15mm Laserburn Imperials):

I know! The problem is that to get all the different models from the four factions, I would have to order to Khurasan, 15co.uk and GZG, and spend more than 100 euros. If I still have all those models with me, I will retake the project, but I won't start from scratch again.
Now I was looking at my Epic miniatures and wondering how it would be to do it in 6 mm...

I have not seen mine for more than 25 years, I will see if I can remember where they are stored.
Alternative Armies seem to have them now:

Forty years has not made the paint job any better.
