Since our local hobbyclub thought about starting Bolt Action
I have bought myself some Warlord Games goodies and start my own british army
For the historical background I go for the 51st Highland Division, 153 Brigade, 5th Black Watch.
I started painting the commanding miniatures and a universal carrier.

Excellent start. And so much nicer to use a real division as inspiration rather than just a generic platoon.
A good time to start BA as well, with the 2nd edition of the rules imminent (the Armies books are not changing, with the exception of Germany who are getting a new one) I'm a big fan, maybe not the most historically accurate of games but it's a very fun game. The order system and pinning work very well.

Very nice, the posing on the carrier passengers looks great.

Remembering that they were nicknamed the "Highway Decorators" a figure with a tin of paint might be a fun addition. ;)

You are off to an excellent start.
Look forward to seeing what you paint next.
