Spotted by someone else over on Frothers, the Terminator starter set is currently on sale for 30 quid, which I less than half price.
I've never played the game but I must say at that price I'm tempted!

I'm always a bit wary when it comes to games that are movie tie-ins. The miniatures are nice so. The resistance guys could be used in sci-fi or post-apoc games.

As noted on another tread Wayland games are selling the box set for 21 pounds. At 60p a model I had to take the plunge! The individual models are slightly reduced to so got myself an Arnie as well.
Looks like the game is being dumped but might be fun as an off thw shelf thing and at that price you can't complain really.

! Sounds good but Wayland never seems to have anything in stock o_o

Tempting very tempting, but the minis just don't do it enough for me.....but then cheap so....

I never buy from Wayland for that exact same reason (waited for weeks before now!) but to be fair to them it said they had units in stock and I've already had a despatch notice after ordering this morning. We shall see!

I just bought this for £20 including postage from Warlord in their January sale.
It arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised as the box is full of miniatures, tokens, dice and rulebooks.
I have not heard any feedback on the game - do people like it?

To be honest I think it's actually a really neat game. And the box is brilliant value for twenty quid, for the minis alone.

Got mine for £20 to actually reminds me of sg2 but very well layed out and explained etc looks like fun

I received mine today from Warlord Games. Picked it up for 20 GBP. Looks like fun.

Bought it on Black Friday and played my first game during the holidays...and I REALLY like it. Nice tight and simple rules set. Not very complicatd so you can sit down and play a game quickly. And you don't need a lot of extra stuff. I bought some heavy endos, Pops, John Connor and 3 Hunter Killers (Aerial, T-1 and the tracked version from Temrinator 1&2) and I am all set.
Oh and if you order stuff from River Horse they usually toss in extra stuff. I ordered a resin John Connor and Pops from them (AWESOME sculpts and casts by the way!) and received a free Resistance and Terminator sprue with the order! How cool!

I'd bought mine on Black Friday too, a good investment. Haven't played it, but it does seem a decent set of rules as Malebolgia pointed out.
The plastics are nice, the termies easy to paint, and they're usable with other rules anyway.

Bought mine on Black Friday as well. I took a little while to get started on the painting, but the Terminator figures are nearly complete, the first completed figures in two months :D
