Cool plane, not really seeing what's Millennium Falcon about it at all, though. Other than that the cockpit is somewhat round, but it's not even really the same shape. I'd be interested in your design philosophy here.

I think it was just the underlying concept. A fast air version of a tramp freighter service is essentially the idea.

What Fram said. My Blog explains the idea better then just what i wrote here.

So in other words, it's Millennium Falcon in that they both fly. Seems like kind of a stretch.

<sigh> It is too hot today, but why not....

The are both highly modified for speed and maneauverability, way past their original specs, at the cost of their original intended role. Both flown by a smugler, who bands with a small group of other craft (to be made at a later date). Only this one is in completely plausible 30's tech, so no flying pancake shapes etc

This discussion is useless though, I used my imagination and created something like I saw it. You would use yours and create something as you would see it. The end.

I had a similar idea years ago for my "Lucky 13" Mercenary unit. In 28-32mm with a 1/48th scale PBY by Revell!

Just used to get them around and as a "Point of Interest" on the table!

Never finished it! Maybe??? :D

Light up the sky mate!!

Jim, I almost always put that in the text with the picture so people know how small it really is (though a 1 eurocent does the trick too).....it says LWH (Length Width Height) 33mmx25mmx12mm. Could be a drone for your games :)

Since I saw this I keep thinking about converting some jets for 1:600 sci-fi fighters. I am wondering about mating the forward section of a Kfir with a Sea Vixen...(I know it sounds like a joke, but it isn't!)

Thet is the fun of doing things in 3mm. Have a crazy idea? Spend a pound and do it. Didn't work? Had fun that only cost you a Pound :) And at this scale a paintjob can immensely imrpove a model....you didn't think I inscribed all of those windows, did you? :D

No, I'm sorrry, I can see why it isn't all that clear as I used to type LWH (length/width/height) in the past and nowadays just shorthand it top LWH and well......now it's not that clear... :( Must fix that in future pics.

I'm too (emotionally) scarred from inscribing 3mm aircraft  lol
