I've recently received the photos of our latest greens from the sculptor. They are a some new MJ-12 agents, some American infantry with M14s,an M60 gunner, Officer, RTO and the Sarge plus two Alien Spacemen dollies. They will be part of a Killer B Games range which will come out later in the year. The rules are currently being play tested. I hope you like them. I've left the MJ-12 Agents and Alien Spacemen here as they are Sci-Fi.
I've put the photos of the U.S. soldiers on the 'Conflicts that came in from the Cold' forum. (Just so I didn't cross post.)
-
I know that cross posting is frowned apon but, might want to shire the infantry with the "war that came out of the cold" thread.
I know a few people that are really joinsin for some early 1960s us troops with m-14s
-
They look great, how soon?
-
Thinking about it commissarmoody you're right. I'll put them on the cold war thread and just leave the MJ-12 and Alien Spacemen here.
Grimjack, they arrived just today and I need to think what I'm having done next but they will definitely be out in the next couple of months.
-
Nice, I like the military types too
-
Oh :o great Work.
There are innovations, very pleasing. :-*
-
Some 'real' aliens for my upcoming range. These are of course 'dollies' which will be sent back to the sculptor to have limbs added.
First off there are some 'Hopkinsville Goblins' from the famous 1955 encounter, together with another MJ-12 agent.
Then we have some 'Roswell Greys'.
Two 'Gonzales Humanoids' from the 1954 Venezuelan incident.
And finally two Venusian Saucermen. (Clearly not 'real' but based on various 50's Sci-Fi stereotypes)
-
They're great! The Venusians are just brilliant. :D
-
Thanks Earther, I can't wait to get them completed.
-
The aliens look like fun. But, I'm sorry, the MJ12 figure is appalling. Quite apart from its general potato-ness, has the sculptor never actually seen a trenchcoat? Does he not understand how buttons work?
-
Love the Hopkinsville Goblins :D
-
Love the gonsalez incident aliens!!!!!!!!!!! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
-
The greens for the Aliens for our upcoming range have arrived. They'll need to be prepared and then sent for moulding so won't be available just yet. The rules are being finalised after being play tested by a shadowy Government Organisation in an underground base beneath New Mexico.(Cheers again John!)
-
Sorry but I feel the need to swear :(
Those aliens are F*****G brilliant :o :-*
So much character...
Awesome stuff :)
-
Looking good, can't wait to get my hands on some of the Goblins!
-
Thanks guys! The Hopkinsville Goblins terrorised a Farming family back in 1955. I'm in two minds about the One Eyed Venusians rifles. Do we think they look too big? I'm thinking of cutting the long barrel off? What do you think?
-
they do have the great 50's ray gun look, but yeh I'd go with slightly less or no barrel as opposed to now, perhaps just put the end of the barrel where it starts instead - so no long barrel but still has it's end - if you see what I mean lol
-
I don't think they look big :-I

lol I know what you mean, if I shorten them it would be so that the end of the barrel is now the coil.

Thanks Predatorpt. I've asked the sculptor Martin Baker for some more photos to better judge the size.
-
These look great. :)

It is well documented that one-eyed Venusians always used long-barrelled ray-guns!
They look fine to me. Just painting some Hydra Miniatures Robot Legions and they have long-barrelled ray-guns.

Invasion X is all about the well documented facts. I'll leave the rifles as is and let customers snip the barrels if they see fit.
I'll just make sure the anal probes which the Venusian scientists will have are the correct size. ;)

not quite, put the barrel end just after the coil is what I meant. :)
